After an eight year absence a helicopter returns to Ethiopia to resume work bringing messengers of the Gospel of Christ to the most remote areas and peoples of the country.
Helimission, partnering with Joshua Campaign International, will bring the helicopter into Ethiopia .
The helicopter, an AS 350, piloted by Marc Schmidtke, pictured with his family, will be able to fly Missionaries to remote people groups, such as the Tara people in southern Ethiopia .
Previously unknown to anyone before 1995, the gospel was brought to them by an Ethiopian missionary, and through a miraculous confrontation with the local witchdoctors, the Lord revealed his power and many people of that tribe came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.
